In 2020, Dry Creek and much of the surrounding area was hit with 2 back to back hurricanes. While these hurricanes didn’t cause massive flooding the wind damage could be easily seen.

Homes and barns were ripped apart and destroyed. Trees were torn from the ground and scattered all over the area, and sections of livestock fencing were broken or missing.

Despite the ongoing pandemic 2 of our members spent a week in the area helped to clean up all the debris.

They worked long days helping 5 different ranchers saw up and remove massive tree damage around their properties.
